An independent institution with 20 billion Euro in capital. It is bass. The purpose is to contribute to the development of a common market.

The European Parliament Budget Control Committee haed in Luxembourg, and was established by the EU under the Treaty of Rome in 1958 to lend money on a non-profit making basis, with subsidised interest rates, for EU investment projects criticised the lack of control over its operations.
