Vries, Gijs de (1956 - )
Member of the Court of Auditors for the Netherlands. Former
coordinator for the EU on terrorism questions with an office in the building of
the Council of Ministers in Brussels. Previously European Affairs
Minister in the Netherlands and Government representative in the EU’s Constitutional
Convention. Previously Chairman of the Liberal Group in the European
Parliament, succeeded by Pat Cox and later Graham Watson, and
Guy Verhofstadt. ALDE.
