Six, The

The founding six member states of the European Economic Community: Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.

The term used for EFTA when it had seven Member States was "The Seven".

Now, the seven EFTA members are four, and the founding Six EEC Members have become 27 with the enlargements of the EU in 2004 and 2007.
