Peterle, Alojz (1948 - )
Member of the European Parliament from 2004. Was an observer of the EU-Convention Praesidium for the applicant countries.
As a member of the Christian Democratic Party, he was elected to the Slovenian parliament in 1990 and became its first democratically elected Prime Minister.
