EU partnership programme with Mediterranean countries from 1996. Includes Algeria, Cyprus, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Malta, Morocco, the Palestinian Authority, Syria, Tunisia, and Turkey.
The aim is to support the establishment of a free trade area through the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership.
