Frassoni, Monika (1963 -)

Co-chairperson with Daniel Cohn-Bendit of the Greens/EFA Group in the EU Parliament since 2002. Hailing from the Italian Green Federation, she was elected to the European Parliament in 1999 after having worked in the Green group for many years. Living in Belgium, elected in Italy.

Candidate for the President of the European Parliament in 2007 and had more than 150 votes in competition with Hans-Gert Pöttering.
