EDD Group
The Group for a Europe of Democracies and Diversities in the EU Parliament existed between 1999 and 2004. It has been succeeded by the Independence and Democracy Group (Ind/Dem).
The EDD had 18 Euro-sceptic and Euro-realist members from 4 different countries and observers from Poland. The group united two Dutch Christian parties, the UK Independence Party, the French CPNT, three French Sovereignists and the Danish JuneMovement. The EDD Group was chaired by Jens-Peter Bonde with Hans Blokland and Yves Butel as co-chairs.
