Working time

Working time is limited to 48 hours a week, although there are some exceptions (Photo: Notat)
Limited to 48 hours a week within the EU, with some opt-outs (derogations). Was adopted for the EU as a whole in 1993 by means of qualified majority vote on the basis of provisions of the Single European Act Treaty.
