Slovenia has a population of 2.03 million and an area of 20,273 km2.
A member of the EU since 1 May 2004. On the 23 March 2003, 89% of the population voted “Yes” to membership of the EU.
Had a Europe Agreement since 1996 and entered into Accession Partnership in 1998.
