Saint-Josse, Jean (1944 - )

In the 1999 French elections to the EU Parliament, EU hunting rules became a major issue.

Because of this the leader of the French party CPNT, Jean Saint-Josse, and five of his colleagues were elected to the European Parliament 1999-2004. CPNT stands for Hunters, Fishers, Nature and Tradition. EDD.

He did not obtain five percent of the votes in 2004 and is therefore no longer member of the European Parliament. Saint-Josse was also a candidate in the 2002 French Presidential election and obtained 4.23% of the votes.

The French hunters may stand in the European elections in 2009 together with Libertas.
