Reding, Viviane (1951 - )

Commissioner for Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship in the Barroso II Commission from 2009-14.

In the first Barroso Commission Viviane Reding served as Commissioner responsible for Information Society and Media (2004-2009). Commissioner for Education and Culture 1999-2004. Former Christian Democrat MEP for Luxembourg. EPP. Elected again in 2014.
