Joint European Torus, JET
Large research project which has been established in order to eventually be able to create a fusion reactor. The intention is not to develop fusion energy.
JET is in possession of a Tomamak machine - a reactor in which fusion is created through magnetic closure.
It is situated in Culham, UK, and financed by the EU and Switzerland.
