TTIP
The Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership(TTIP) Is a proposal for a free trade and investment agreement between the EU and US. It has been heavily criticised in different countries because multinational companies can claim compensation from a state when they decide higher environmental or consumer and labour standards that they claim may adversely affect their profits.
Disputes about the agreement will not be settled in normal courts of law but in special legal tribunals staffed by specialists.
