Dalli, John (1948 - )
Maltese politician who was appointed as European Commissioner for Health and Consumer Policy in the Barroso II Commission from 2010-12 when he was forced to resign after accusations on corruption.
He launched a court case against Barroso and claimed 1.9 million euro in compensation.
John Dalli has served as Cabinet Minister in various governments since 1987. EPP
