Antici-group

Group of civil servants in the Council of Ministers.

In every permanent representation in Brussels, a diplomat has the task of preparing the summits in the European Council. During summits, the Antici-group meets in a specific meeting room adjacent to that of the prime ministers. Only these diplomats are allowed to visit their prime ministers and take notes during summits. 

Notes

Named after an an Italian diplomat, Paolo Antici, who chaired the first Antici-group in 1975.
