Rasmussen, Poul Nyrup (1943 - )
Danish Prime Minister from 1993 to 2001. Former president of the European Social Democratic parties grouped in the Party of European Socialists. Member of the European Parliament for the Danish Social Democrats from 2004 - 2009.
Called a referendum on the Danish exemption from EMU on 28 September 2000. He did not succeed.
Married to Lone Dybkjær, Member of the European Parliament from 1994 to 2004 for the Danish Social Liberal party, Radikale Venstre.
